Step 1: Precision Grinding

We begin with our specialised dry-grinding technique, carefully removing the damaged layer of glass. This eliminates scratches, acid etching, welding spatter, grinder damage and hard-water staining while creating a smooth, uniform surface for the next stage.

Step 2: Surface Refinement

Next, we pre-polish the repaired area to remove the fine abrasions left by grinding. This refines the surface and prepares the glass for a clear, distortion-free final finish—especially important on shopfronts, balustrades and commercial glazing.

Step 3: Final Polish & Quality Inspection

Finally, we use specialised polishing compounds to restore the glass’s natural clarity and gloss. Every repair is then inspected under natural and artificial light to ensure the finished result meets or exceeds AS 4667 and our own quality standards.
